Microsoft Playground
Microsoft hosted a one‑of‑a‑kind tech expo showcasing interactive product demos for ILDC employees, the local high‑tech community, potential hires, and key partners. The goal was to create an experience that anyone could understand and connect with. By designing an interactive, narrative‑driven space, we were able to communicate each group’s purpose and daily work in a way that felt accessible and engaging. Microsoft touches so many parts of everyday life — health, education, media, devices, finance, marketing, productivity, and more — so each booth was built around the unique story of its group. Using the Playground visual language, the booths were reimagined with a bold, playful, and inviting look. All security‑related groups were placed in a dedicated “airport zone,” staged as if under a simulated cyberattack. To differentiate this area from the rest of the expo, the entire zone was designed in black and white, with walls covered in bold typography and geometric patterns to reinforce the narrative and guide visitors through the space. Each group demonstrated its work through familiar real‑world scenarios — for example, a compromised baggage conveyor system illustrated challenges solved by the IoT security team.
