We all have our own unique ways of working - but what type of worker are you? Inspired by a well‑known study on employee archetypes, we defined four characters that represent different strengths: The Creator, The Visionary, The Connector, and The Team Player. As part of our onboarding experience, every new employee is introduced to these characters to better understand their own working style. Later, we developed the Essentials Kit for all new Microsoft employees. The kit includes a hoodie, tumbler, notebook, stickers, socks, and a badge attachment - all packaged in a bold, oversized box that’s impossible to miss on your first day. After its success, we decided that interns transitioning into full‑time roles deserved something special too. So we created a mini edition of the kit, featuring cool stickers and a Polaroid camera to capture their next chapter.
